According to reports from Citizen TV, today peace talks are being held in Njoro and Elburgon’s Mariashoni and Nessuit areas to end inter-ethnic violence in the area.
It’s so sad that neighboring communities are fighting and killing each other. The government must do everything in their power to bring this inter-ethnic violence to its end by addressing the root causes such as historical land injustices, cattle rustling and lack of security of land tenure among others.
