Man U star, Paul Pogba has had his Rolls-Royce seized after he was pulled over by the police for driving a car with a foreign number plate (French).
Pogba was driving a Wraith Black Badge and when he exited near Manchester Airport, he flagged down. This is according to the Sun newspaper in the UK.
The latest edition car was taken away by the police and Pogba was made to take a ride on the back of the police patrol car.
UK laws requires that all foreign cars which have stayed for more than 6 months be registered with DVLA and fitted with UK number plates. The only exception is if the owner is a UK resident in which case, they are required to register their cars with a period of two weeks upon importing it.
Pogba will have to pay £150 in order to get back his car and if he fails to do so, for each extra day he will be charged £20 for every day the car stays with the police.
“We couldn’t believe it when we saw the driver was Paul Pogba. It looked like he did everything that was asked.
Further, an eyewitness added:
“We wondered what it was all about, he didn’t look like he was speeding or anything.”
