Othman Benjelloun is the Chief Executive Officer of BMCE Bank of Africa which has operations in over 20 African countries. The Bank has its headquarters in Casablanca, Morocco.

 

BMCE or Banque Morocaine du Commerce Exterieur is the parent company of Bank of Africa. It was established in 1959. Their first foray into Sub Saharan Africa was in 1982 when they opened  business in Bamako, Mali.

 

Othman Benjelloun’s Bank of Africa has offices in Italy, Netherlands, Asia, United Kingdom, Spain, China, United Arab Emirates, Canada, Germany and France.

 

The billionaire’s father held a stake at RMA  which in an Insurance firm in Morocco. Othman has a stake in Orange which is a French telecom company.

 

In 2014, Othman Benjelloun launched his plan to construct a 55-stor MOhamed VI Tower in Rabat which was estimated to cost $500 million.

Othm an Benjelloun earned his Diploma from Ecole Polytechnique de Lausanne. He is the co-owner of Ranch Adarouch which is the one of the largest cattle breeders in the African continent.

 

Ranch Adarouch is 11,000 hectares of land located in the Middle Atlas. There are 5,000 heads of cattle.
