Open Government Partnerships (OGPs) is a multi-lateral program that has been in place since 2011. In that year, the then Permanent Secretary Dr. Bitange Ndemo (now a full professor at UON’s school of business) advocated for the installation of undersea optic cable which is part of why Kenyans enjoy fast internet.
