Oliver Mtukudzi dies at 66
Oliver Mtukudzi has died at the age of 66.
He made hit songs from 1970s.
In 2001, Oliver Mtukudzi released the song Wasakara which means that “You Are Too Old.” The song was immediately banned by the then Zanu-PF government stating that it referred to President Robert Mugabe.
The singer was famous for his unique style of Afro-jazz music. He was known by his fans as “Tuku Music”.
During his long career, Oliver Mutukzi released 67 albums and toured many countries around the world.
