Newly Promoted Norwich City shocked Premier League defending champions after beating them 3-2 in a match that was played yesterday at the Carrow Road Stadium and attracted over 27,000 fans.
The hosts opened the scoring in the 18th minute through Kenny McLean in the 18th minute before Todd Cantwell added the second ten minutes later. Sergio Kun Aguero scored Manchester City’s first goal in the 45th minute and the game headed into halftime with Norwich City 2-1 up. Teemu Pukki scored Norwich City’s third goal five minutes into the second half making the scores 3-1. New Manchester City signing Rodri scored the second goal for the defending Champions in the 88th minute.
The loss to Manchester City now leaves Manchester City at 2nd place with 10 points, 5 behind leaders Liverpool. Liverpool haven’t lost a game this season.
