Ian Baraclough has been appointed Northern Ireland boss, the Irish Football Association has confirmed.
He’ll succeed Michael O’Neill.
Michael O’Neill joined Championship club Stoke City in November last year after 8 years in charge of North Ireland.
O’Neill initially combined the national team job before stepping down in April.
O’Neill initially wanted to lead the team to Euro 2020 play-offs but decided against carrying on when the play-offs were postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Baraclough, 49, has been in charge of North Ireland under-21 team for the last 3 years.
The former Scunthorpe and Motherwell manager’s first game in charge will be against Romania in the UEFA Nations League on September 4.
