The Oscar Winners and members of the royalty attended the premiere of James Bond movie “No Time to Die” in London. This event has been described as cinema’s most high profile red carpet event since the commencement of Covid-19 pandemic.
Daniel Craig dressed in a pink velvet jacket and co-stars Rami Malek, Lea Seydoux and Lashana Lynch met for the highly anticipated film.
No Time to Die is the 25th Bond movie which was originally planned to hit the theaters but was delayed three times due to the ongoing pandemic.
The MGM film and Universal Pictures marks Craig’s 5th and final outing as a suave British secret agent. Craig’s 15 -year career now comes to an end. His debut was Casino Royale of 2006.
No Time to Die had cost $200 million to produce. The film portrays James Bond coming out of retirement in Jamaica to track down a new villain who is using lethal technology.
The film No Time To Die introduces 00 agent Nomi played by Lynch who stated: “I’m just happy it’s here and we get to celebrate it in the way that it deserves.”
The Premiere was graced by Prince Charles and Prince William accompanied by their wives Camilla and Catherine. Members of the armed forces and health workers were also invited due to their front-line work.
“We gave everything to this film … and I hope people will love it.” Said Madeleine Swann.
Expectations on the movie are very high after the last two Bond movies, ‘Spectre’ and ‘Skyfall’ grossed $880 million and more than $1 billion respectively.
