Napoli have signed forward Victor Osimhen from Lille for a reported club-record deal worth an initial €50M.
The deal could reach €54M, making him Napoli’s record signing.
Victor Osimhen scored a total of 18 goals for Lille in the 201-20 season.
The 21-year-old had been linked with Europe’s top clubs including Chelsea and Arsenal.
Victor Osimhen joined Lille last year from Belgian side Charleroi as a replacement for Nicolas Pepe who joined Arsenal.
The Nigeria international has made 10 appearances for his national team, scoring four goals.
A statement on Napoli’s website read: ‘’SSC Napoli are delighted to announce the signing of Victor Osimhen from Lille on a permanent transfer.”
