Govenor Peter Munya appeared before the Senate Public Accounts Committee Kenya (PAC) to answer questions raised by the 2013/2014 report by the Auditor General.
Govenor Peter Munya had refused to appear before the Senate Public Accounts Committee Kenya but he bowed under pressure from the Prof. Anyang Nyongo lead committee. The Senate committee had threatened to arrest him. This made Govenor Peter Munya to obey the summons.
A number of questions were raised by the Senate Public Accounts Committee Kenya. This includes the “unprocedural procurement of a medical scheme worth Ksh. 35 million for its county employees” reported XNews.
