Bologna head coach Sinisa Mihajlovic has extended his contract at the club until 2023.
Mihajlovic was diagnosed with leukaemia before this season and underwent a bone marrow transplant in October. He was back in the dugout 6 weeks later.
The Serbian tactician had two years left on his initial contract but agreed to extend his contract with the Serie A side, who sit 10th in the table.
The Serie A was suspended in March due to the coronavirus pandemic. It will resume this weekend.
12 rounds of games are remaining to complete the season.
Bologna will resume their campaign on Monday when they host leaders Juventus.
