Kenya International forward Michael Olunga continues to star for club Kashiwa Reysol as he scored 7 goals in a 13-1 victory over Kyoto Sanga in the Japanese J2 League on Sunday.
Kashiwa Reysol have already been crowned Japan J2 League Champions and have earned a promotion to the Japan J1 League after suffering relegation last season.
Michael Olunga was not with the club when they beat Macheda Zelvia 3-0 on 16th November to be crowned champions. He was on international duty with Harambee Stars taking part in AFCON 2021 Qualfiers.
In total, Michael Olunga has scored 26 goals in 32 League matches for Kashiwa Reysol this season.
Michael Olunga joined Kashiwa Reysol in August 2018 from Chinese top-tier side Guizhou Zhicheng with the Japanese club reportedly paying Ksh 300Million for the services of the Kenyan striker.
