Mauritius recorded two coronavirus cases on Sunday after 28 days without any new cases.
The two patients are among the 149 Mauritians who were repatriated from India on May 9th on a special Air Mauritius flight.
Mauritius Health minister Kailesh Jagutpal said two weeks ago that the island had won the battle against coronavirus, although he warned that the war against the virus was still on.
Prime Minister Pravind Jugnauth is expected to address the nation this week about the ongoing curfew.
Only people with special permits are allowed to move around freely. Most activities remain banned unless deemed essential.
More than 3,000 Mauritians are still stuck abroad. They have appealed to the government to bring them back home.
The authorities are preparing to repatriate its nationals from India, Australia and Madagascar.
