Martha Karua who was the Azimio la Umoja one Kenya coalition, has claimed the presidential results just announced to award William ruto the Presidential certificate were not credible.
William Ruto was announced the President-elect by the chairman of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission, Wafula Chebukati.
Martha Karua in a press conference said: “It is not over till it is over”. Earlier, outside the Bomas of Kenya before the announcement of presidential results, Azimio presidential agent claimed that the IEBC servers were hacked and the votes were stolen.
The challengers have up to seven days from the day results were announced to file a petition.
There has been protests in the strong points of Azimio while resident of Kenya Kwanza strongholds are filled with joy. There have been mixed reactions in the country but peace is the key.
Police officers are taking round the clock patrols to ensure Kenyans are safe.
