Mario Mandzukic is a free agent after the Croatian striker terminated his contract with Al-Duhail.
Mario Mandzukic, 34, moved to Qatar in December 2019 after being deemed surplus requirements at Juventus, where he won 4 Serie A titles and Coppa Italia on 3 occasions.
‘’I reached an agreement with Duhail SC management to terminate my contract by mutual consent,’’ Mario Mandzukic posted on twitter.
‘’I appreciate the trust and hospitality that I have received in Qatar and I wish the best to the club and the team in the future.’’
Italian sides Milan and Benevento have been rumored to be possible destinations. He has also been linked to Turkish clubs Fenerbahce and Galatasaray.
Before joining Juventus, Mario Mandzukic played in the German Bundesliga at Bayern Munich, where he won the UEFA Champions League in 2013, and Wolfsburg, as well as spending a season at Atletico Madrid in the Spanish La Liga.
