Manchester United endured a frustrating premier league campaign last season that saw them finish in the sixth position. That position secured them a chance to participate in the Europa League this season. Other Premier League clubs that will participate in the tournament include Arsenal and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Manchester United previously won the Europa League in 2017 in Stockholm after beating Ajax Amsterdam 2-0 in the final.
