According to Mirror, other three players also pushed for the move. This includes; Marcus Rushford, Luke Shaw and midfielder Bruno Fernandes.
The team now is on its knees after the likes of Nemanja Matic, Jesse Lingard, Edinson Cavan and Paul Pogba left on free transfers. The team has not yet found their right replacements.
Eriksen is good as a play maker but needs support. United has been putting an eye on Barcelona’s Frenkie de Jong but the offer has expired.
But they are still making negotiations with Juventus’s Adrien Rabiot. Among other players that Manchester United is interested in include Matheus Cunha (Atletico Madrid), Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Barcelona), Mauro Icardi (Paris Saint-German).
