This is a story about a man allegedly stabbed by wife. Winnie Maina, 35, has been arrested for allegedly stabbing her husband to death after parting together. She is currently held at Langas police station in Eldoret.
According to reports, the couple had arrived home at 4.30 from a local pub where they had gone to party. On arrival, they turned against each other and broke into a fight.
On the course of fighting, Winnie allegedly grabbed a knife and stabbed her husband. Wycliffe, the husband, was then rushed to Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital for treatment but died while receiving medication.
The matter was reported to Police and Winnie was arrested. She will wait for seven days in custody as investigations start on the case.
However, the court has directed that Winnie will have to go for mental assessment before arraigning in court.
