Luke Shaw to be sidelined for at least four weeks
Manchester United defender Luke Shaw has been sidelined due to an injury he sustained last weekend when playing against Crystal Palace at Old Trafford. Crystal Palace won the game 2-1. He suffered a hamstring injury and had to be replaced by Ashley Young.
The England defender is expected to be out for at least a month as he steps up his recovery from the injury.
Luke Shaw is expected to miss Manchester United’s next three games against Southampton, Leicester City and West Ham United as well as England’s next two fixtures against Bulgaria and Kosovo.
The timeframe of return of Luke Shaw from injury could stretch even farther if final tests prove to be bad as feared. He could end up missing matches against Arsenal, Newcastle United and Liverpool.
Manchester United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is expected to replace Luke Shaw with Ashley Young in the Starting Lineup. Diogo Dalot and Marcos Rojo are options too.
