AFC Bournemouth have struck a deal with Liverpool to ensure winger Harry Wilson remain on loan with them for the remainder of the Premier League season.
The two clubs discussed the extension because the coronavirus pandemic delayed the end of the 2019/2020 season beyond the original expiration date of the winger’s stay.
The 23-year-old Wales international has scored 7 goals in 23 Premier League games for Bournemouth this season.
Bournemouth sit 18th in the Premier League table after 29 games. Wilson is expected to help Eddie Howe’s side move out of the relegation zone over the last 9 games of the campaign.
The Premier League is set to restart on June 17 with Manchester City v Arsenal and Aston Villa v Sheffield United.
The Cherries will return to action on June 20 with a home match against Crystal Palace.
