Leicester City have completed the signing of defender Timothy Castagne from Serie A side Atalanta.
The 24-year-old Belgium international has signed a five-year deal with the Foxes.
Castagne can play on either side of the defence.
He joins Brendan Rodgers’ side just over a week after England full-back Ben Chilwell joined Chelsea.
Castagne joined Atalanta in 2017 from Genk and helped his team qualify for the 2019/20 UEFA Champions League for the first time in their history with a third-place finish in Serie A.
Castagne made 35 appearances in all competitions for Atalanta last season as Atalanta finished third for a second year running.
He featured 6 times in the Champions League for Atalanta as the Italian side enjoyed an impressive run to the quarter-finals of the competition.
Castagne made his senior debut for Belgium in September 2018 against Scotland. In total he has been capped 7 times.
Castagne is currently with the Belgium squad for their upcoming UEFA Nations League fixtures.
