Late CS Gen (Rtd.) Joseph Nkaissery Patriotism
We lost Gen. (Rtd.) Joseph Nkaissery early today. Yesterday he even attended Player Rally with the President Uhuru Kenyatta.
The retired General played a great role to Kenya as a nation.
In 2015, Joseph Nkaissery’s patriotism was demonstrated when the CNN broadcast a story about Kenya being a “hotbed of terror.” CS Nkaissery responded by terming CNN news as “lies” and “propaganda”[1]. Later Kenya withdrew an advertising contract with Kenya valued at USD. 1 million. In addition to that, he asked the network to issue an apology to Kenya. The CS was a great patriot.
Joseph Nkaissery was an Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Member of Parliament before he was appointed by President Uhuru Kenyatta as Cabinet Secretary for Interior[2]. He was appointment to replace Joseph Ole Lenku who was dismissed from his post as Cabinet Secretary.
