There has been a great battle between the Director of Public Prosecutions(DPP) Noordin Haji and the Director of Criminal Investigations(DCI) George Kinoti. Yesterday DPP Haji said that he is ranked higher than DCI Kinoti. He claimed that he relates with the Inspector-General of the police while DCI Kinoti is under the IG. Haji leveled Kinoti with his deputies who deal with detectives.
On the other hand Haji said that the deputy president William Ruto was not involved in the Arror and Kimwarer dams scandal, a statement that was dismissed by many Kenyans who said that Haji is supporting the DP.

“My statements should not be used for political purposes. If individuals have been accused of being involved in corruption in any way, they should be able to face the public and explain instead of using people’s statements,” Haji said.
Haji said that he was only presenting facts and was not based on any political agenda. He also said that he cannot take the words of suspects and say that they are innocent.
