Kerosi blog covers current affairs from around the world. Vladimir Putin sent 447 goats as a gift to North Korea president Kim Jong-Un. This is a sign of improving relations between the two countries.
These goats are expected to supply dairy products to children in Nampo Municipality. Out of the 447, a total of 432 are non-pregnant female goats and 15 are male goats.
You may remember that previously Kim gave Putin two Pungasan dogs. In response Moscow sent 30 grey thoroughbred horses to North Korea as a gift in 2022.
North Korea is one of the few countries which has been in support of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. This was confirmed by Ukraine president when he stated that his country was attacked by artillery shells and ballistic missiles made in North Korea.

Bulawayo City Mayor clarifies claim that 90% of HIV rate disclosure was misrepresented. Dr. E. Mzingwene, the Bulawayo Town clerk stated that the figures were taken out of context and misrepresented which cause panic.
He further indicated that the statistics used to make the claime were from Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid and Camera (VIAC) programme.
VIAC is said to have targetted women who are already confirmed as HIV positive and are undergoing screening for cervical cancer.
Dr. Mzingwane said that women living with HIV are six times more likely to develop cervical cancer compared to those without HIV quoting World Health Organization.
FRENCH COURT ORDERS THE SEIZURE OF NIGERIA’S NEW PRESIDENTIAL JETS
A Chinese company known as Zhongshan Fucheng Industrial Investment Company Limited has been granted seizure of 3 presidential jets belong to Nigeria’s Federal government.
The Tribunal stopped Nigeria from relocating or selling the planes until the above named Chinese company received $74.5 million awarded by courts.

The three presidential jets are on routine maintenance in France. French court allowed the company to seize the 3 jets for claims in court matter between Ogun State and the Chinese company.
The said jets are:
- Dassault Falcon 7X which is in Le Bourget Airport in Paris
- Boeing 737 and Airbus 330 both located in Basel -Mulhouse Airport in Switzerland
