Kenyans showers kind words on Bitange Ndemo’s promotion to full professor
According to a twitter message by CIO East Africa, Associate Professor Bitange Ndemo has now become a full professor at University of Nairobi’s Business School.
Bitange Ndemo has been at the forefront in researching and implementing policy on ICT and its interaction with small and medium sized businesses.
For 8 years Bitange Ndemo Served as a PS under Ministry of ICT. For two years Ndemo served as a Chairman for Global Alliance for Affordable Internet starting from 2013.
Since 2013, Ndemo has worked as a Senior Advisor at UN Global Pulse which is a Big Data Initiative.
In 1993, Bitange started his academic career as a tutorial fellow at the University of Nairobi. He served in that position until 1995 when he became a Lecturer for entrepreneurship in the same institution. Bitange Ndemo was elected and served as Chairman at the Department for Business Administration from 2017-2018.
Professor Bitange Ndemo holds a doctorate in Economics from University of Sheffield and Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from University of St. Thomas in Minnesota, USA.
