84 Kenyans arrived at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport on Monday night from London and more are expected to arrive from China and India before the end of the week.

The returnees were screened at the airport before being taken to quarantine centres where they’ll stay for 14 days.
One of the returnees confirmed that they paid Ksh. 53,544 for the Kenya Airways flight and they wore face masks throughout the journey.
Kenya banned international flights and closed its borders as part of the measures to contain the spread of Covid – 19.
Coronavirus restrictions in Kenya
- Borders are shut and flights are banned.
- Curfew between 7 PM and 5 AM
- No travel from the Kenyan Capital to the other counties.
- Mosques, churches, pubs, entertainment venues, hotels and schools shut.
- Each and every one is required to wear a face mask in public.
- Employers are encouraged to allow their staff work from home.
- Cashless transactions are encouraged.
- All places of work are required to have soap and clean water or a hand sanitizer.
- In case one comes into contact with an infected person, he or she is expected to isolate for 14 days.
Kenya has confirmed 582 coronavirus cases, with the virus claiming 26 lives. 190 patients have recovered.
