The newly announced President of Kenya by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has thanked God for the chance to clinch into the Presidential seat.
William Ruto who had been the Deputy President in the last 10 years, defeated his opponent by securing a 50+1 percent in the 2022 general elections.
He also thanked the IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati calling him the hero of the nation. Ruto with his deputy Rigathi Gachagua, now forms the government that will resume power after the exit of Uhuru Kenyatta.
on the other side, four IEBC commissions have declined the results.
