Kenya in COP28. This was the best attended cop since the establishment of the convention.

 

It’s actually double the numbers of 2021 Cop in Glasgow. President William Ruto of Kenya was the 7th head of state to address the gathering in Dubai.

 

Unfair international financial systems is the problem for Africa to be able to achieve their goals under climate change.

 

Kenya will be a beneficiary of USD$4.48 billion of climate change financing.

 

President William Ruto has elevated the position of Kenya on climate change issues at the world stage.

 

A total of 51 Kenyans were cleared by the national government to attended the Cop 28. However, there are many other Kenyans who are attending CoP28 being sponsored by non-state actors, County Governments and the private sectors.

 

There are a lot of Kenyans participating at CoP 28 representing youth groups, NGOs and communities from across the country.
