Former Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is set to return to Old Trafford tonight as his side face Manchester United tonight in the English Premier League.
Mourinho was sacked by Manchester United in December last year following a bust up with some players at the club. He was replaced by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The Portuguese tactician took over Tottenham as manager few weeks ago after Argentinean coach Mauricio Pochettinho was sacked after a series of poor results. He has won three games out three as Tottenham Hotsurs boss.
Jose Mourinho won a UEFA Europa League and a Carabao Cup at United.
‘’Going back to Old Trafford is to go back to a place where I was happy. I can say that I have a great relation with United supporters.’’ Said Mourinho ahead of the showdown at Old Trafford.
The 56 year old expects respect from Manchester United fans tonight.
‘’I expect there is respect shown towards me but I understand that what they want is exactly the opposite of what I want. I want Tottenham to win, during the match of course I expect them to forget me.’’ He added.
