Tottenham Hotspurs have agreed a deal with French Ligue 1 Club Lille to bring in coaches Joao Sacramento and Nuno Santos.
Jose Mourinho was appointed on Wednesday as Spurs new Head Coach following the sacking of Argentinean tactician Mauricio Pochettinho on Tuesday. Pochettinho was dismissed following a series of poor results this term.
Tottenham Hotspurs have been reported to have paid £3M for the two. Joao Sacramento will be Jose Mourinho’s assistant and Nuno Santos will be the goalkeeping coach.
‘’To Joao Sacramento and Nuno Santos, LOSC wish all the success in this new project.’’ Said Lille in a statement.
Reports show that Spurs may again raid Lille for Sporting Director Luis Campos, who previously worked with Jose Mourinho at Real Madrid.
Mauricio Pochettinho’s era saw numerous reports of tensions between manager and Chairman Daniel Levy over transfers
The arrival of Campos at Tottenham Hotspurs would act as a solution, and Jose Mourinho will be given funds to make signings in the January transfer period.
