President Joe Biden has been declared medically fit by his doctors following a final annual medical check-up as he is expected to declare his interest for re-election in 2024. At the time of next elections he will be 82 years old.
Joe Biden is the oldest person to ever occupy the Oval Office. Biden spent most of his Thursday morning Feb 16 at Walter Reed National Military Hospital undertaking the medical tests.
The medical results report revealed that he is ‘fit’ to campaign for re-election in 2024.
“President Biden remains a healthy, vigorous, 80-year-old male, who is fit to successfully execute the duties of the presidency, to imclude those as Head of State, Chief Executive and Commander-in-chief,” physician Kevin O’Connor said in a letter published by the White House.
Biden is expected to declare that he will seek for re-election considering that the campaigns are heating up.
Donald Trump is the front-runner on the Republican side. Biden is expected to bank on his record of safely steering America from the Covid-19 pandemic, ending the US war in Afghanistan and leading countries opposing Russian war in Ukraine.
That notwithstanding, some Americans are raising question in regards to his advancing age and alleging that he is mentally incompetent. This is expected to be an issue during the campaigns.
