According to the reports from White House, United States First Lady Jil Biden has tested. This comes only two weeks after Joe Biden, her husband, tested positive for the second time.
Jil Biden is reported to experience cold-like symptoms in the late evening.
Her communications director Elizabeth Alexander said she had tested negative earlier in the day but when a more detailed PCR test came out, the results were positive.
She is now on antiviral paxlovid pills and will be in isolation for the next five days. “She is double-vaccinated, twice boosted, and only experiencing mild symptoms,” Alexander said.
Joe Biden, the US President, has already recovered from his second COVID-19 wave. He has been in isolation at the White House but still performing his duties.
He contracted the first COVID virus on July 21, healed and tested positive again on 30th the same month.
