Daniel Craig has said that he prefers going to gay bars and has ‘grown sick of the aggressive d*** swinging’ he faces at ‘hetero bars.’
The English actor, 53, who is promoting his final James Bond Movie “No Time To Die” revealed this to his friend Bruce Bozzi during the SiriusXM podcast.
He further revealed that when he was single he regularly went to the gay bars as ‘there were a lot of girls there for exactly the same reason I was’.
Daniel Craig has been married to film actress Rachel Weisz for over 10 years. He said ‘Listen, you know, I’ve been going to gay bars for as long as I can remember and one of the reasons – because I don’t get into fights in gay bars that often.’
He stated that ‘the aggressive d*** swinging in hetero bars, I just got very sick of as a kid because it was like “I just don’t wanna end up being in a punch up”. And I did, that would happen quite a lot.’
For Daniel Craig, gay bars was a good place to be. He found everybody was chill.
‘It was okay and it was a very safe place to be. And I could meet girls there ’cause there were a lot of girls who were there for exactly the same reason I was there. So I was, there was kind of, you know, there was an ulterior motive,’ he said with a laugh.
The James Bond actor explained that: ‘For me, it was one of those situations and the irony is, you know, we kind of got ”caught”, I suppose, which was kind of weird cause we were doing nothing f**king wrong.’
Daniel Craig is the longest-serving James Bond. He has played 007 for 15 years starting from Casino Royale in 2006.
