Inter Milan Head Coach Antonio Conte made a plea for people to stay at home and respect the rules amid coronavirus emergency in Italy.
Italy has been the hardest hit country outside China by the virus, with more than 1400 deaths being reported and at least 21,000 cases.
The Virus has led to football leagues across Europe being postponed. The Italian Serie A has been postponed to April 3rd and the country is in lockdown.
”Please stay at home and respect the rules. That’s the only way to confront this emergency. It’s a difficult and tough moment but if we stick together, we’ll go through it. Dont give up!” Said Conte in a video posted in Inter’s channels.
Conte and the entire Inter Milan squad are in isolation after coming into contact with Juventus defender Daniele Rugani – who contracted COVID – 19.
Daniele Rugani was the first player in the Italian Serie A to test positive for the coronavirus.
