Kenya police in Haiti have arrived in the Caribbean nation to help the country deal with the gangs and bring peace. Violent gangs control Haiti’s capital and over 580,000 citizens have been left homeless across the country as gangs fights to gain more control.

Haiti had for help from the international community some two years ago. This mission will be lead by Kenya. Other countries such as Chad, Bangladesh, Bahamas, Benin and Jamaica will join Kenyan police to bring peace to the country.

 

The mission will cost $600 million every year.
