For the financial year 2019/2020, Nairobi County expects to receive a total of Ksh. 17,267 million out of which Ksh. 16,500 million will be received in the form of Equitable Share (share of resources collected at the national level and then shared with all the 47 county governments based on a specific formula developed by Commission on Revenue Allocation – CRA ) while Ksh. 767 million will be received in the form of Conditional Grants. Conditional grants are resources provided by the national government which are not to be repaid but they have to be used for a pre-arranged purpose.
