Hoffenheim have appointed Sebastian Hoeness as head coach.
Hoeness, 38, has penned a three-year deal with Hoffenheim.
Hoeness has left his role as Bayern Munich II head coach to succeed Alfred Schreuder who left the club with 4 matches of last season left to play.
Hoeness, who is nephew of former Bayern president Uli, previously coached RB Leipzig youth team.
Hoffenheim sporting director Alexander Rosen said: ‘’We have been in contact with Sebastian Hoeness for a long time because we’re impressed by his work and his view of football fits perfectly with the philosophy and strategy of TSG.
‘’Sebastian has impressively demonstrated his ability to shape young players into powerful assets and develop them individually.’’
Hoffenheim finished 6th in the Bundesliga last season. They’ll participate in next season’s Europa League.
