Manchester United captain Harry Maguire is cooperating with Greek authorities after an alleged incident in Mykonos, the club has confirmed.
The defender has been on holiday in the Island after United’s season ended with a 2-1 defeat to Sevilla in the UEFA Europa League semi-final.
“The club is aware of an alleged incident involving Harry Maguire in Mykonos last night. Contact has been made with Harry and he is fully cooperating with the Greek authorities.
“At this time we will be making no further comment.”
Harry Maguire joined Manchester United from Leicester City last summer for £80M.
The 27-year-old England international was made captain in January by manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Maguire played in 55 matches in all competitions for the Red Devils last season. Including every minute of their Premier League campaigns as they finished third.
