Haitian leader who is the president of Haiti transitional council Edgand Leblanc spilled water on himself while addressing the gathering at the United Nations General Assembly. He was taking questions from the participants and had finished speaking about the allegations that Haitians eat pets such as cats and dogs.
The Haitian leader picked up a jug full of water and attempted to drink from it instead of putting the water in a glass. He missed his mouth and water spilled on him while on the podium.
The allegations that Haitians eat pets was first made by Donald Trump on September 10 during a presidential debate. The Haitian president argued that this will create hostility for Haiti people in America and other countries abroad hence need to be clarified ASAP.
