Gor Mahia beat AFC Leopards 4-1 on Sunday at the Moi Sports Centre Kasarani. Yikpe Gnamian scored two goals as Lawrence Juma and Clifton Miheso scored one each. Ingwe’s only goal came from Burundian import Tresor Ndikumana.
Yikpe opened the scoring in the 55th minute before doubling the lead in the 63rd minute. Miheso added the third in the 79th minute before AFC Leopard’s Ndikumana reduced the deficit by one goal. Lawrence Juma scored the fourth for K’Ogallo after substitute Boniface Omondi passed the ball to him.
Gor Mahia have now managed to beat AFC Leopards 7 times in their last 9 Mashemeji derby meetings. The last time AFC Leopards beat Gor Mahia was in 2016 when they pulled a 1-0 victory.
