Aleksandr Golovin has signed a one year contract extension at AS Monaco, committing him to the French club until 2024.
Monaco struggled in Golovin’s first season at the club and finished at position 17. The club confirmed that Golovin penned a contract extension on Saturday via the club’s official website.
However, the Russia International has played his part in an improved campaign this time around, with Monaco sitting ninth in the League table, a point behind Reims who are placed fifth.
Only two outfield players have featured more than Golovin under Head Coach Robert Moreno, showing his importance to the club.
