Ghana’s president Nana Akufo-Addo has announced a three-month extension incentive package for healthcare workers, the BBC reports.

The health workers will not pay income tax for July, August and September. They will also continue enjoying a 50% increase in their basic salaries.

The country has eased restrictions on religious gatherings and schools have reopened for final year students. However, its borders remain closed.
