Frank Ribery is set to join Fiorentina
Frank Ribery is set join Italian Club Fiorentina on a free transfer. This follows after the veteran winger exited German club Bayern Munich.
The 36 year old has already agreed terms with the Serie A club and will be announced as a Fiorentina player after having his medical. That’s according to Sky Sports Italian Journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Frank Ribery spent 12 years at the German Club where he won 24 trophies. The trophies include 9 Bundesliga titles and a Champions League in 2012/2013 season. He made 273 appearances for the German Club scoring 86 goals in the process. Frank Ribery also made 81 appearances for the France National team.
Ribery follows into the footsteps of former teammate Mario Gomez who also left Bayern Munich after four successful years to join Fiorentina.
His exit from Bayern Munich led to the club signing Philippe Coutinho on loan from Laliga Club FC Barcelona as his replacement.
The clubs that Frank Ribery also played for various clubs like Lille, Boulogne, Ales, Brest, Metz, Galatasaray and Olympique Marseille.
