Marco Giampaolo has been named the head coach of Torino on a two-year contract.
Torino parted ways with Moreno Longo following the conclusion of the Serie A season on August 2.
Longo, who replaced Walter Mazzarri in February only managed three wins and four draws in 16 top-flight games.
Torino ended the Serie A season five points above the relegation zone.
The club announced Marco Giampaolo’s arrival on Friday.
The 53-year-old left Milan in October after just four months at the San Siro.
He was fired after losing four of the first six Serie A games of the 2019/20 campaign.
