Former Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak has been found guilty of all the 7 counts of corruption in a multi-million-dollar corruption scandal.
Former Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak had pleased not guilty to money laundering, breach of trust and abuse of power. The case against him lasted from 2009 to 2018 and it was considered by many as a test of the country’s anti-corruption efforts.
Former Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak is likely to spend decades in prison but he still has sometime out of prison as he exploits his appeal opportunities.
“After considering all evidence in this trial, I find that the prosecution has successfully proven its case beyond a reasonable doubt,” judge Mohamad Nazlan Mohamad Ghazali told Kuala Lumpur High Court.
