Female robber on wanted list in many African countries was arrested at JKIA
A Kenyan woman who has been involved in criminal activities in numerous criminal activities in many African nations was arrested at JKIA. At the time of her arrest, she was waiting for a flight to the coastal city of Dar es salaam in Tanzania.
The lady was identified as Ms Margaret Waithira Kamande. The detectives identified her as a notorious robber. She was arrested on Thursday at night following a trail by Kenyan detectives.
The detectives informed the media that Kamande has been on the radar of detectives for more than one month as at the time of the arrest. They also promised to arrest all her accomplishes.
Kamande was also featuring on the Interpol list of most wanted criminals after she was involved in a contempt of court in Zimbabwe. She had been involved in a burglary case in the Sub Saharan African country. Subsequently, she and her accomplishes were arrested at a nightclub in Tanzania.
When they were arrested
they were found in possession of master keys, a crowbar and numerous house
keys. The police in Zimbambwe believe that these tools in their possession were
used to break into people’s houses.
Kamande is also wanted by other East African countries to answer cases of
various crimes.
According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigation, Kamande has been on the run until her successful arrest.
This is a significant arrest which has put to rest the cat and mouse game between Kamande on one hand and Intepol and Kenyan detectives on the other.

Kamande was planning to flee Kenya after she was informed about her imminent arrest. Her gang had specialized in breaking into houses of Kenyans in Lavington, Langata, Kileleshwa and Kilimani. All being posh residential areas in Nairobi with high returns for their criminal activities.
Margret Waithira Kamande has been captured on CCTV while breaking into many offices and homes in Nairobi City. The members of the terror gang used various strategies such as posing as employees of utility companies in order to get access to the homes and offices and conduct their robbery.
Kamande and her gang were working in organized crime. The gang was sometimes armed with guns in order to conduct successful robberies.
