According to the Norwegian Football Association, UEFA has postponed Euro 2020 until next year due the impact of the deadly coronavirus.
UEFA hosted a meeting with all 55 member associations and stakeholders on Tuesday.

Euro 2020 was to commence on June 12 in Rome before continuing in 11 other cities across Europe but a communication from the Norwegian FA claim the tournament has been put on hold till June 2021.
An NFF post on twitter read: ‘’UEFA has decided that the European Championship is postponed to 2021. It will be played from June 11 to July 11 next year. More information to come.’’
Covid – 19 has disrupted sport activities across Europe with major European Leagues being postponed. The Premier League, Laliga, Serie A, Ligue 1 and Bundesliga are all suspended until April.
The postponement of Euro 2020 will allow the various European Leagues to conclude the 2019-2020 season.
