In 1984, Emil and Liliana Schmid purchased a brand new Toyota Land Cruiser and commenced their tour around the world.
They have so far toured +/- 218 countries around the globe on the same car. They have taken over 12,000 photos to report on their trips.
Emil and Liliana Schmid won the Guinness World Record for the longest distance driven on the same vehicle.
In March 2017, the car had a 3rd rejuvenation in East Malaysia. This is how they are able to travel the world with the land cruiser as their home.
