Real Madrid’s midfielder, Casemiro, has agreed a £ 70 million move to Manchester United from Real Madrid. He has agreed to pen a four-year contract with the Red devils.
Casemiro will be the fourth Manchester United signing this summer. He won’t be playing against Liverpool on Monday because the Reds failed to sign him on time. However, he will be playing against Southampton.
The five-time Champions League winner with Real Madrid will be earning £350,000 a week. He will take a flight to Manchester in less than 48 hours where he is set to complete his medical checkup and officially start training with the team.
Casemiro has made huge accomplishments during his 8-year service in Real Madrid. He has won 18 major trophies and scored 31 goals in 336 matches.
The Real Madrid coach confirmed Casemiro’s move on Friday claiming that the player is ready to try the new challenge.
“After all, he’s done for this club, we need to respect his decision.”
“Negotiations are ongoing but he has decided to leave Real Madrid.”
“Casemiro is leaving but we have a lot of resources to replace him. There is no turning back, Casemiro has decided to try a new challenge.”
“We want to wish him the very best. Just yesterday I realized that Casemiro is leaving, but our plans don’t change – we’ll compete for everything with or without Casemiro.” Ancelotti said.
