Donald Trump is the president elect of the United States of America.
His inauguration is scheduled for January 20. Many prominent people have confirmed that they will attend this important event. Among them will be the former Presidents of United States such as Barrack Obama (his wife Michelle Obama will be absent), Bill Clinton, George Bush and his wife Lara Bush will attend.
Corporations have donated plenty of money to make the day a success. Uber, Boeing among others have pledged $1million each. You see these donations is one of the strategies companies use to come close to the seat of power and maybe get to influence public policies in their favor.
Elon Musk the CEO of Tesla and Space X and owner of X has seemingly his seat preserved near the center of power. It is alleged that he donated more than $250 million towards the campaigns of Donald Trump. He also volunteered his time to attend political rallies across the US to drum support for his favorite candidate Donald Trump.
Now Donald Trump is in office and Elon Musk has officially become a kin maker. He has also set his sight at influencing global geo-politics.
He has in recent past caused political waves in Germany and United Kingdom by declaring his position known and even indicated that he will donate hundreds of millions of dollars towards supporting polical causes. We are yet to see how this turns out.
Back to Donald Trump inauguration. The man who served as the 45th president of the most powerful country in thewoorld in returning to White House as the 47th president. Pundits have indicated that this is one of the greatest political come backs in global history.
The inauguration marks the end of one regime in office and the start of another regime.
On January 20, Donald Trump will recite the Oath of office which goes something as follows:
“I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the office of the President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability preserve, protect and defend the constitution of the United States,”
The inauguration will start at St. John’s Church at Lafayette Squae and then tea will be served at the White House and then Swearing-in of Donald Trump and JD Vance will happen.
Over 200,000 people are expected to attend the function in Washington DC.
The crowds will be entertained by world renowned artist such as Carrie Underwood, the Village People, Country Singer Lee Greenwood as well as opera singer Christopher Macchieo among others.
This is an elaborately scripted event in American history.
